Description - Onsite in NYC 5 days. BI Engineer
As a BIE, you will work across marketing, media, science, product, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality data solutions and reporting that drive faster, data-informed decisions. You will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of reporting pipelines, dashboards, and metrics—helping to operationalize insights for business stakeholders.
You should have strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to translate ambiguous business questions into clear, data-driven outputs. You will be a hands-on builder who takes ownership of reporting deliverables, partners closely with data engineering to ensure scalable solutions, and contributes to the continuous improvement of our analytics infrastructure.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
The BIE role requires knowledge of how to use AI/automation tools (e.g., QuickSight, Bedrock, Claude) for analytics and workflow orchestration, rather than building the software itself.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build, maintain, and improve scalable reporting solutions that support the analytical needs of the Packaging and Fleet marketing channels.
• Partner with Sr BIE to develop and enhance data models, pipelines, and datamarts in Redshift and related AWS technologies.
• Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, transform, and validate large datasets for reporting and ad-hoc analysis.
• Develop dashboards and visualizations that enable business stakeholders to self-serve insights and monitor performance.
• Partner with Product, Marketing, Science, and Engineering teams to define business requirements, document metrics, and ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Support the automation of recurring business reports (e.g., WBR 2.0, Budget Tracking, Page 0, Vendor Production) and streamline data validation processes.
• Contribute to data quality initiatives by identifying data issues, writing validation scripts, and documenting lineage and assumptions.
• Communicate findings clearly to stakeholders and recommend data-driven improvements to existing reporting or operations.
A day in the life
You will collaborate with Product Managers, Marketing Managers, Data Engineers, and Scientists to deliver the data and reports that power campaign performance measurement and operational decision-making. You’ll own the end-to-end reporting process—from data extraction and transformation to visualization and stakeholder communication—helping the team scale analytics as the company expands its packaging and fleet media channels globally.

The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $75.00/hr.
