Your role and responsibilities

Role Overview:

The Application Developer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and implementing Maximo applications that support Federal client enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities:

* Design and develop robust Maximo-based software solutions tailored to Federal enterprise needs.

* Conduct multidisciplinary research and collaborate with engineers and analysts to ensure technical alignment.

* Lead the development of algorithms, database structures, and system integration strategies.

* Oversee development teams, ensuring software quality, risk mitigation, and adherence to project timelines.

* Apply scientific analysis and modeling techniques to optimize system performance and meet user requirements within defined time and cost constraints.

Required technical and professional expertise

* Minimum of 10 years of experience in software engineering and enterprise application development

* Minimum of 5 years as a technical/functional resource for IBM Maximo EAM, including configuration and support of Maximo 9.x

* Hands-on experience with Maximo tools such as Migration Manager, Workflow Designer, Application Designer, and Database Configuration

* Minimum of 5 years of programming experience with Java and Python

* Ability to obtain and maintain a Federal security clearance with the US government

Preferred technical and professional experience

* 5+ years of experience with cloud environments such as AWS or IBM Cloud

* Background in software development planning, algorithm design, and database architecture

* Experience with scientific modeling and system performance prediction

* Proven ability to serve as a task lead or technical liaison

* Experience working in federal agency environments

* Familiarity with Federal enterprise architecture and compliance standards

* Certified IBM Maximo Deployment Professional
