    **Job Title:** Dockhand

     

    Shifts Available

     

    $16 - 1st Shift

     

    Monday - Saturday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM

     

    $18 - 2nd Shift

     

    Sunday - Friday, 6:00 PM – 4:30 AM

     

    _(Training on 1st shift until Nov. 16th)_

    Responsibilities

    Dockhands – versatile will be working in different areas

    + Physical demanding position.

    + Unloading trucks/boxes

    + Will assist in shipping – loading trucks, replacing gaylords, wrapping pallets, organizing shipping area, induction line running (will get trained on that/how to fix a jam)

    + Will assist in receiving – unloading boxes

    + Assisting in putting totes on the induction line (totes for picking)

    + Assisting in putting cardboard on a conveyor line for the compactor.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in dock operations or warehouse logistics.

    + Ability to lift and move heavy items safely.

    + Familiarity with shipping and receiving procedures.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Proficiency with RF scanners.

    + Knowledge of warehouse safety and production processes.

     

    Work Environment

     

    This role is based in a modern distribution center with open bay access. The facility is non-climate controlled but equipped with large industrial fans and water stations to help manage heat and maintain comfort during shifts.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $19.00/hr.
