Job Title: Warehouse/ Material handler

•Job Description

The employee will work in the warehouse, using an RF gun to locate and pick products to a pallet or overpack case. Responsibilities include moving inventory from specific areas using a walkie-rider or pallet jack, de-staging products into Pick Mod, and performing various warehouse activities with the WMS through RF equipment, pick to light technologies, or computer-based workstations. The role may involve working in departments such as Receiving, Case Pick Modules, Shipping, Returns, Freezer, and Refrigerated space.

Responsibilities

+ Pick case quantities and build pallets for extended periods.

+ Retrieve replenishments in the Refrigerator and Freezer.

+ Deliver replenishments to pick modules using a pallet jack.

+ Operate a powered stretch-wrap machine.

+ Build and break down pallets as needed.

+ Verify inventory levels in locations by performing cycle counts.

+ Conduct assorted WMS tasks such as receiving materials, counting, sorting, verification of item numbers, lot numbers, expiration dates, and data entry.

+ Focus on quality and accuracy as part of the company-wide goal: Quality First.

Essential Skills

+ 1+ years of warehouse experience.

+ 1+ year of RF scanning experience.

+ Basic math and counting skills.

+ Basic computer and calculator skills.

+ Experience with inventory, forklift, material handling, pallet jack, labeling, warehouse inventory, shipping and receiving, loading, unloading, electric pallet jack, and order picking.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Attention to detail.

+ Ability to take time and learn from mistakes.

+ Show care and understanding of quality over quota and quantity.

Work Environment

The work environment is very clean and not very loud, with a climate-controlled temperature of 71 degrees year-round. Employees receive two 15-minute breaks and one 30-minute lunch. The pay period runs from Sunday to Saturday, with voluntary overtime available on weekends. Some tasks may require working in a cold container (refrigerator), allowing the use of a jacket without a hood and not oversized.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $18.50/hr.
