Your Opportunity As a GIS Intern with Stantec you will provide technical support which includes mapping applications, spatial analysis, and map production; as well as provide support for assigned projects.

Your Key Responsibilities- Use geospatial data to complete tasks using knowledge of Geographical Information Systems

- Managing GIS data and databases for larger multi-disciplinary studies.

- GIS analysis and mapping for environmental and infrastructure projects

- Develop web maps/applications.

- Supporting electronic data collection in the field.

- Develop GIS-based scripts, models and tools.

- Performs allocated project tasks within quality, time and budget requirements.

Your Capabilities and Credentials- Basic understanding of general concepts of Geographical Information Systems

- Knowledge of ESRI software suite including ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, Field Maps and Survey 123

- Knowledge of Python and Autocad

- Developing skills utilizing relevant geographic software programs

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Developing cooperative skills in working efficiently with a team

Education and Experience- Currently enrolled in an accredited bachelor’s degree or equivalent in GIS or related field.

Position will work primarily in an office setting, but will have opportunities to work in the field.

Pay Range:

• Locations in MN, OH, VT, & Various CA, NY Areas - Min Salary $ 40,200.00 - Max Salary $ 54,300.00

**Pay Transparency:** In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
