    Job Summary

    Installs, maintains, and repairs electrical systems, facilities, and related electronic controls. Reads utility meters (electric, water, gas) as required. Works athletic and other events as assigned, which often occur after normal working hours and on weekends. This position is considered “essential personnel” and may require unusual attendance responsibilities, such as storm duty .

     

    Primary Duties and Responsibilities

     

    + Installs, maintains, and repairs lighting equipment & electrical equipment (e.g. wires, conduits, switches, outlets, junction boxes).

    + Ability to assist with Testing and troubleshoot transformers, motors, generators.

    + Completes assigned work orders in a timely and efficient fashion while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor with all customers.

    + Performs accurate reading of all utility meters on campus.

    + Performs additional duties as assigned.
