Wellness Navigator - Bilingual Spanish or Haitian Creole - Orlando FL

Responsibilities** **:

• Promote Wellness Strategies

• Engage leaders in data driven decision making regarding support of their employees.

• Support wellness champion network including different levels of employer leadership and employees from the worksite

• Collaborate in development and delivery of promotion campaign including health awareness seminars, newsletters, posters, emails, raffles, reminders, etc. and distribution to local leaders and resource centers.

• Facilitate Group Wellness Campaigns including walking groups, weight lost support groups, etc.

• Assist Customer with coordination of Wellness Events/Fairs

• Connect Customers with wellness education and resources.

**Qualifications** :

• Minimum of 2 or more years of experience in health and wellness field

• Bachelor's degree in a health education, health promotion or health-related field.

• Health Promotion experience

• Current ACLS/BLS/CPR/AED Certification

• High energy level, with dynamic presentation skills is required, including large groups.

• Positive role model in demonstrating healthy behaviors

• Passion for health improvement

• Self-starter and ability to work independently

• Customer-centric focus

• Ability to proactively collaborate professionally with the client and other matrix partners.

• Bilingual – Spanish or Haitian Creole

• Flexible with work hours, for periodic evening and weekend events

**Bonus points for** :

• Master’s degree

• CHES (Certified Health Education Specialist)

• Motivational interviewing training/experience.

• Smoking cessation and diabetes experience.

This full time role is based on site in Orlando Fl.

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
