Basic Job Functions:
Nucor Business Technology (NBT)is seeking qualified applicants for the position ofBusiness Intelligence (BI) Analyst I. This position will collaborate across departments to enable data-driven decision-making by developing intuitive, validated analytics tools that empower users to solve business problems.
This positions responsibilities include but are not limited to:
+ Learning existing business systems
+ Serve as evangelist for NBT implemented applications
+ Working with cross-functional teams to support data needs
+ Assist departments with bringing more visibility to their data by creating dashboards, reports and custom analytic solutions
+ Assist department stakeholders to build their own applications
+ Manage and build data flows to ensure smooth and timely data delivery
+ Handle ad-hoc requests and provide insights to support decision-making
+ Focus on improving existing BI architecture for better performance and maintainability and support company initiatives by providing data-driven support and foster open communications across teams.
The analyst will also play a key role in promoting a culture of safety, supporting the companys mission to become the worlds safest steel producer, and driving initiatives that prioritize customer focus, product quality, and environmental responsibility. This is an on-site position. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States.

Minimum Qualifications:
+ Minimum two-year's experience designing and developing reports and insights that analyze business functions and key operations and performance metrics.
+ Minimum one-year experience building, developing, and maintaining reporting and dashboard systems (Fabric, Databricks, orTableau Server).
+ Bachelor's Degree in a science, technology, engineering, mathematics field orclosely related discipline.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Understanding of agile software development methodologies.
+ Knowledge of a code version controlsystem.
+ Source data from across the enterprise to migrate into various instances of DataLakes/Warehouses/databases.
+ StrongSQLskills, ability to perform effective querying involving multiple tables andsubqueries.
+ Experience with data models (SQL Server AnalysisServices).
+ Experience building, developing, and maintaining Machine Learning Models (Python, Jupyter Notebooks, MicrosoftMLsolutions).
+ Understanding of data models, data integrations, andETLtools.
