Job Title: Business Analyst
Duration: 18 months
Schedule: 40 hours per week (No Overtime)
Pay Rate Range: $40 to $45/hr
Summary
The Business Analyst will maintain vendor relationships and act as a business analyst for non-IT projects. This role operates above an administrative level but below management. Responsibilities include overseeing project management processes—such as setting goals, managing deadlines, tracking metrics and budgets—and ensuring operational efficiency. The role reports to a Project Manager or Director.
Key Responsibilities
+ Review and approve contracts, cost proposals, and contract supplements.
+ Approve project and work breakdown structures (WBS).
+ Review and approve documentation of business processes.
+ Approve project budgets and expenditures; monitor transaction controls and costs against budgets.
+ Forecast potential budget overruns and propose corrective solutions.
+ Consult with corporate offices, project managers, auditors, clients, and sub-consultants on future proposals.
+ Prepare sub-agreements and review/input sub-consultant invoices for contract compliance.
Required Skills
+ Excellent verbal and written communication, attention to detail, and customer service skills.
+ Strong interpersonal abilities and capacity to work independently while managing time effectively.
+ Solid understanding of business and management principles—including strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.
+ Proficiency in applying accounting and mathematical principles in project work.
+ Ability to leverage AI tools for analytics, reporting, and productivity scaling.
+ Strong analytical skills to identify business trends and forecast future revenues and expenses.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; experience with Enterprise Applications is a plus.
Education & Experience
+ Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, Business Management, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
+ Minimum 4 years of relevant experience required.
