Controls Engineer

Our client is seeking a Controls Engineer to conduct electrical/hydraulic/pneumatic design, peripheral device programming and machine PLC programming. As a Controls Engineer, you will be responsible for working with the R&D team on new product development projects including design, testing and technical support. The ideal candidate will have ability to work independently & as part of cross-functional teams, able to work under minimal supervision and exhibit a high attention to detail which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Controls Engineer
Pay Rate: Pay will be up to $115,000/year (dependent on experience)
Key Responsibilities
+ Provide assembly team with technical support during assembly and managing Final Assembly Test.
+ Work on continuous improvement activities to improve product performance, cost and standardization.
+ Prepare detailed schematics and working engineering drawings of electrical devices and system.
Requirements
+ 3 years experience with Allen Bradley and AutoCAD Electrical
+ BSEE or BSEET is required
+ Packaging or food & beverage experience preferred
