Position Title: Batch Maker
Department: Manufacturing / Production
Reports To: Production Supervisor
Overview:
Batch Makers are essential to the production of high-performance coatings, linings, and fireproofing products. This role involves precise chemical mixing, equipment operation, and adherence to strict safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Measure and mix raw materials according to detailed chemical formulas.
+ Operate industrial mixers, pumps, scales, and tanks.
+ Perform routine equipment cleaning and maintenance.
+ Conduct quality control tests and document production data.
+ Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE.
+ Manage inventory of raw materials and finished goods.
+ Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
Qualifications:
+ High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
+ Forklift certification required or willingness to obtain.
+ Experience in chemical manufacturing or batch production.
+ Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions.
+ Proficiency with industrial equipment and basic troubleshooting.
+ Team-oriented mindset with good communication skills.
Work Environment:
+ Industrial setting with exposure to chemicals.
+ Fast-paced and physically active role.
+ Requires standing, lifting, and wearing PPE for extended periods.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
