Job Title: Civil Project Manager
Job Description
We are seeking a Civil Project Manager to join our Civil Site Team in Atlanta, GA. The successful candidate will work collaboratively and independently to produce final construction documents and specifications for various civil site projects. The role involves working with engineers, designers, and surveyors to ensure efficient, high-quality design and successful project completion.
Responsibilities
+ Manage civil site projects from concept through construction.
+ Maintain client relationships during plan design, approval, and construction phases.
+ Prepare proposals, project scopes, and budgets.
+ Create site plan and site grading documents for commercial, industrial, and residential developments using AutoCAD Civil3D.
+ Develop Erosion Sediment Control plans for various projects.
+ Design utility layouts in AutoCAD Civil3D pipe networks.
+ Research municipal zoning and development codes, document findings, and design options.
+ Submit and process development plans through municipal approval procedures.
+ Prepare plan quantity estimates for client use.
+ Draft necessary specifications to support construction documents.
+ Conduct quality control reviews of development plans.
+ Handle construction administration for submittals, RFI’s, and site issues.
+ Prepare letter reports and project correspondence.
+ Coordinate with other engineering disciplines.
+ Communicate effectively in both technical and non-technical terms.
+ Work independently with minimal supervision.
Essential Skills
+ Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (BSCE).
+ 3-7 years of experience in land development engineering.
+ Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
+ Experience in site development, hydrology, and stormwater management for commercial, healthcare, industrial, and residential projects.
+ EIT certification.
+ Excellent communication skills.
+ General knowledge of surveying, geometrics, hydraulics, grading, floodplain management, and utility design.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ GA PE license (preferred but not required).
+ Familiarity with Hydroflow, Hydrographs, & HEC-RAS (preferred).
+ Project management experience.
+ Professional engineering certification.
+ Strong experience in civil engineering design.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Atlanta, Georgia.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $52.85/hr.
