Entry level Specimen Processor at LabCorp!!
Responsibilities
+ Introduce and prepare biological specimens to the laboratory to ensure accurate processing.
+ Open specimens and pour them off into secondary containers to prepare for analysis and testing.
+ Verify that patient demographic information matches the test requisition form submitted.
+ Enter patient information into the computer system for tracking purposes.
Essential Skills
+ High School Diploma or equivalent.
+ Proficient computer and typing skills.
+ Comfortable handling human biological specimens, including blood, urine, and tissue samples.
+ 0-2 years of work experience.
+ Previous experience in medical laboratory, diagnostic testing, and specimen processing is advantageous.
Work Environment
2nd shift schedule from 6 PM to 2:30 AM, Monday through Friday, with rotating Saturday shifts every other week. Employees receive a 10% shift differential for 2nd shift work.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
