    Medical Assistant - Fertility Clinic

    Job Description

    The role involves performing both clinical and administrative duties at a thriving fertility clinic. The ideal candidate will have at least six months of experience, particularly with phlebotomy skills.

    Responsibilities

    + Check patients in and room them.

    + Enter patient data into the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.

    + Perform phlebotomy and blood draws.

    + Coordinate with onsite healthcare providers.

    + Answer patient-related questions.

    Essential Skills

    + Phlebotomy skills with at least six months of experience.

    + Medical assisting experience.

    + Strong customer service skills.

    + Ability to work in a fast-paced and growing fertility clinic environment.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Phlebotomy certification is preferred but not required.

    + Experience with electronic health records.

    + A 'no task is too small' attitude and flexibility with scheduling.

    + Willingness to work weekends on a rotational basis in the future.

    + Professional and polished demeanor.

    Work Environment

    The position is based in a busy fertility clinic located in Manhattan. The work schedule is Monday through Friday with a start time between 6 am and 8 am, consisting of 8-hour shifts. There is a possibility of working 1-2 weekends per month on a rotational basis. The current team includes 12 Medical Assistants and 4 providers, handling approximately 15 patients per provider daily. The clinic offers opportunities for growth and promotes from within, and provides benefits while on contract.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.
