Position Title: Lab Technician

Contract Length: 6 month Contract to Hire

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Lab Technician to support the production of cross-linked hyaluronic acid products in a cleanroom environment. This role involves operating manufacturing equipment, executing production protocols, and maintaining accurate documentation in compliance with SOPs, GMP, and Good Documentation Practices. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in biomanufacturing, strong aseptic technique, and a solid understanding of chemical handling and cell culture.

Key Responsibilities

+ Operate production equipment in accordance with SOPs, Batch Records, and Operational Procedures

+ Execute manufacturing processes for cross-linked hyaluronic acid products

+ Prepare and coordinate samples for testing and analysis

+ Maintain accurate records in Batch Records, log books, and documentation systems

+ Review documentation for compliance and recommend revisions as needed

+ Report procedural deviations and non-conformances to management

+ Follow Good Documentation Practices and GMP standards

Required Skills & Qualifications

+ Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Biotechnology, Biology, Chemistry, etc.)

+ 4–6 years of experience in a biotech or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment

+ Proficiency in SOPs, GMP, and cleanroom protocols

+ Strong aseptic technique and experience with cell culture

+ Comfortable working with chemicals, including acids and bases

+ Ability to gown and work in a cleanroom environment

Preferred Skills

+ Experience with sample and media preparation

+ Familiarity with high-throughput environments

+ Knowledge of biotechnology manufacturing processes

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.50/hr.
