    Job Title: General Production Worker

    Job Description

    We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as General Production Workers. The role involves inspecting bottles for defects such as dents or holes at the end of the production line. Once inspected, bottles are to be packed into boxes for shipment. During downtime or when the production line is not running, you will support other departments as needed to ensure workflow and productivity are maintained.

    Responsibilities

    + Inspect bottles for defects such as dents or holes at the end of the production line.

    + Pack inspected bottles into boxes for shipment.

    + Operate a sit-down propane forklift in a warehouse setting.

    + Perform inventory counts and handle materials of varying weights.

    + Support other departments during downtime to maintain workflow and productivity.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience with general production, packaging, and inspection.

    + Ability to operate a sit-down propane forklift.

    + Strong attention to detail.

    + Comfortable completing repetitive tasks.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with general labor tasks.

    + Ability to perform inventory counts and handle materials of varying weight.

    Work Environment

     

    The production floor is not climate controlled and will be warmer than outside due to the machines running. The plant has a total of about 110 employees, with the warehouse team consisting of about 6 people. Available shifts include Monday to Friday from 2:45 pm to 11:15 pm

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hagerstown, Maryland.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
