    Job Title: Maintenance Technician

    Job Description

    The Maintenance Technician I is responsible for coordinating daily tasks within the assigned Community, performing various facility and technical tasks to support the residents' needs. This includes on-site maintenance, unit turn, inspection, troubleshooting, and repair work in areas such as HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and residential maintenance.

    Responsibilities

    + Ensure the physical condition of the Community is maintained according to operating and safety standards.

    + Complete all service requests and repairs accurately and promptly.

    + Obtain necessary approvals for repairs and replacements exceeding $1,000.

    + Administer turn-key operations and ensure vacant units are inspected and prepared timely.

    + Maintain an adequate inventory of supplies and tools for service and property maintenance.

    + Purchase supplies as required, using a standard purchase order system and proper bidding procedures.

    + Work with approved vendors within the annual budget.

    + Maintain a preventative maintenance program to minimize emergency repairs and service requests.

    + Execute tasks involving building equipment, painting, drywall patching, and minor plumbing and electrical repairs.

    + Evaluate deficiencies such as excessive wear and troubleshoot minor electrical issues.

    + Perform other duties as directed by the Community Manager and assist the overall team effort as needed.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $43680.00 - $56160.00/yr.
