    Job Title: Flex Operator

    Job Description

    As a Flex Operator, you will play a crucial role in the setup and removal of die/tooling for production runs. This involves disconnecting and reconnecting wires and hoses to ensure the tooling is prepared for the Process Technician. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness by removing plastic debris from the floor, machines, and hoses.

    Responsibilities

    + Assist in the removal and setup of die/tooling for production runs.

    + Disconnect and reconnect all wires and hoses for tooling preparation.

    + Ensure tooling is ready for the Process Technician.

    + Clean plastic debris from floors, machines, and hoses.

    Essential Skills

    + Mechanical aptitude.

    + Experience in machine operation, particularly in plastic injection and press operations.

    + Mechanical repair and plastics injection molding experience.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Prior experience in plastics, mold setting, or general machine setup is beneficial but not required.

    + A positive attitude and aspiration to progress into a Setup Tech or Maintenance position.

    Work Environment

     

    The work environment is hot and loud, with a noticeable smell of hot plastic. It is non-climate controlled. The dress code includes tops such as t-shirts or hoodies without strings, appropriate bottoms like jeans or shorts that reach near the knee, and closed-toe, rubber-soled shoes. Jewelry should not be dangling, and tattoos and hair color are acceptable as long as they are not offensive.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bardstown, Kentucky.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
