    Production Associate

    **Location:** Rocky Ridge, Maryland

    **Job Type:** Contract-to-Hire

    Position Overview

    We are seeking a reliable and hardworking **Production Associate** to support our brick manufacturing operations. This role involves repetitive manual tasks, primarily focused on handling and stacking bricks from kiln carts onto the monorail. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the physical stamina to work in a dynamic production environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Assist in all aspects of brick manufacturing processes.

    + Prepare and apply sand and slurry mixtures, ensuring proper setup and maintenance of application systems.

    + Clean, install, maintain, and adjust dies, heads, and cutting blades.

    + Monitor brick quality throughout production and report any discrepancies.

    + Track production schedules and ensure timely preparation of paints and sands for changeovers.

    + Maintain accurate documentation for standard operating procedures (SOPs) and inventory tracking.

    + Support equipment maintenance and repairs under supervision.

    Required Skills & Qualifications

    + Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of basic machinery.

    + Willingness to learn and follow instructions.

    + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive tasks while standing for extended periods.

    + Attention to detail and commitment to quality.

    Preferred Experience

    + Prior experience in manufacturing or production environments.

    + Familiarity with mechanical systems and general labor tasks.

    Work Schedule & Environment

    + **Hours:** Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

    + **Environment:** Industrial setting with seasonal temperature variations and a dusty atmosphere.

    + **Safety Gear:** Steel-toe boots and long pants required; safety vests and glasses provided.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $22.50 - $22.50/hr.
