SWING SHIFT Cold Storage Warehouse Associates, Forklift Operators, Order Pickers NEEDED ASAP

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Associate to join our team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse, particularly within a temperature-controlled setting. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in food and beverage distribution, along with expertise in operating various warehouse equipment.

Responsibilities

+ Operate electronic pallet jacks, both single and double, in a fulfillment warehouse.

+ Pick orders using onboard POS computers, paper pick sheets, RF scan guns, and barcode sticker printers.

+ Receive and unload inbound freight, verify and inspect products, and forward information to the receiving clerk.

+ Perform pallet breakdowns, restacking, restocking, palletizing, staging, and loading outbound trailers.

+ Assist in inventory management, cycle counts, and date coding.

Essential Skills

+ Experience with forklift operation and food distribution.

+ Proficiency in using RF scanners and order picking.

+ Experience with electric pallet jacks and sit-down forklifts.

+ Ability to read, write, communicate, and comprehend the English language for various tasks.

+ Ability to operate various configurations of equipment, including forklifts and handheld scanners.

+ Possess good judgment for safe and efficient product handling.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in cold storage distribution with 3-4+ years of tenure.

+ Ability to work in a cold environment and withstand cold temperatures.

+ Physical ability to meet job requirements, including standing, sitting, and walking throughout the day, and lifting up to 100 pounds.

Work Environment

Our work environment is a cold storage distribution facility, which requires working in very cold conditions. Employees are provided with full clothing bibs to ensure comfort and safety while performing their duties.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
