Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Finish Carpenter to join our dynamic team. The role involves a variety of construction tasks including hanging and finishing drywall, installing and adjusting doors, windows, and hardware, and performing light electrical and plumbing duties.
Responsibilities
+ Hang and finish drywall, as well as perform drywall repairs.
+ Install and adjust doors, windows, and hardware.
+ Conduct light electrical and plumbing tasks such as switching out light fixtures or fixing leaks.
+ Frame and install/hang drywall and repair damaged sections.
+ Clean up paint and caulking.
+ Conduct various repairs such as fixing sliding glass doors or kitchen drawers.
+ Complete punch list duties effectively.
Essential Skills
+ At least 3 years of construction experience.
+ Proficiency in carpentry.
+ Experience with drywall finishing and hanging.
+ Familiarity with framing, hand tools, installation, commercial construction, and rough carpentry.
+ Ability to work with doors, metal studs, and tape measures.
+ Capability in finish carpentry.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with finishing tasks like installing doors and windows, adjusting cabinets, and hardware installation.
+ Experience in commercial construction is a plus.
+ Experience with basic handyman tasks such as light electrical, light plumbing, painting, drywall, and framing.

Work Environment
Work a 40-hour week, Monday through Friday, with projects primarily in the greater Nashville area, and occasional travel to Huntsville and Memphis. Travel-related expenses are covered, including per diem, mileage reimbursement, and accommodation. A professional work environment with all necessary PPE provided, though candidates must supply their own steel toe boots and basic tools.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Nashville, Tennessee.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
