Wire Harness Technician

Key Responsibilities:
+ Fabricate and assemble wire harnesses, cables, and panels according to schematics, drawings, and specifications.
+ Perform wire preparation, stripping, cutting, crimping, and labeling.
+ Solder connectors and terminals using through-hole and solder-cup techniques.
+ Conduct functional and continuity testing of harnesses and assemblies.
+ Maintain accurate documentation of work orders and assembly processes.
+ Follow IPC-620 and MIL standards for cabling and soldering when applicable.
+ Operate hand tools and automated crimping equipment safely and effectively.
+ Collaborate with team leads to complete projects from start to finish.
Required Qualifications:
+ High school diploma or technical school certification in electronics or related field.
+ Minimum 2 years of experience in wire harness assembly and soldering.
+ Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and assembly drawings.
+ Proficient in soldering techniques (fine pitch, through-hole, surface mount).
+ Familiarity with quality standards for military and commercial applications.
+ Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Preferred Skills:
+ Experience with IPC-620 cabling standards.
+ Knowledge of electro-mechanical assembly processes.
+ Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting.
Physical Requirements:
+ Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 35 lbs.
+ Manual dexterity for precision soldering and assembly tasks.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
