Job Title: Order Picker Operator
Job Description
A distribution center in the northeastern Indianapolis region is seeking dedicated Order Picker/Forklift Operators to join their team on the 1st shift. This role is essential for ensuring the accurate and efficient fulfillment of customer orders.
Responsibilities
+ Manually pick orders based on a pick ticket, with items often weighing between 25-50 pounds.
+ Use RF scanner regularly to track inventory.
+ Operate sit-down forklift and cherry picker to stage products and pick pallets.
+ Utilize wrapping machine to prepare shipments.
+ Conduct quality inspections of final shipments to ensure accuracy.
+ Use Microsoft applications on the computer for inventory management.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in using RF scanners.
+ Experience with order picking.
+ Ability to operate forklifts and cherry pickers.
+ Material handling expertise.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with reach trucks.
+ Ability to handle heavy lifting.

Work Environment
The work environment is a 75,000 square foot warehouse that is well-lit, clean, and moderately loud. Racks with materials stand up to 25 feet high, ensuring a dynamic and engaging workspace.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Greenfield, Indiana.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
