    Description

    We are looking for a skilled Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team located in the Greater Philadelphia Region. In this long-term contract role, you will play a critical part in managing the accounts payable process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in financial operations. This Accounts Payable Specialist position is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail and expertise in accounting systems and financial policies within the manufacturing industry.

    What you get to do every single day:

    • Accurately process and code vendor invoices while adhering to company guidelines and timelines.

    • Reconcile and review expense reports to ensure compliance with financial policies.

    • Maintain and update vendor records, ensuring timely and accurate payments.

    • Assist in month-end closing activities, including accrual preparation and reporting.

    • Collaborate with internal departments and vendors to address and resolve payment discrepancies.

    • Ensure all accounts payable processes comply with internal controls and company policies.

    • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.

    • Utilize accounting and ERP systems to track, manage, and report payables efficiently.

    Requirements

    Other requirements for the Accounts Payable Specialist position include and are not limited to:

    • Proficiency in account coding and a solid understanding of accounts payable processes.

    • Hands-on experience with accounting software and ERP systems, such as ADP and Concur.

    • Knowledge of accrual accounting and auditing practices.

    • Familiarity with financial services operations and automated clearing house (ACH) transactions.

    • Strong skills in managing vendor relationships and ensuring payment accuracy.

    • Ability to work collaboratively across departments to resolve financial discrepancies.

    • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
