    Job Title: Accounting AdministratorJob Description

     

    We are seeking an Accounting Administrator to join our team. This role involves sitting at the front desk and providing essential office administrative support to our tax team.

    Responsibilities

    + Provide office administrative duties including filing, sorting, answering phones, handling bank deposit runs, and managing emails.

    + Utilize Microsoft Office tools effectively to support daily tasks.

    + Employ Microsoft Excel for basic sorting, filtering, and navigation in spreadsheets.

    + Assist with administrative tax filing, including handling 1099s, I-9s, W-4s, etc.

    + Deliver excellent customer service and support to staff and clients.

    Essential Skills

    + 1+ years of office admin experience supporting staff with filing, sorting, answering phones, and general office support.

    + 1+ years of experience utilizing Microsoft Office tools.

    + 1+ years of experience in Excel, handling basic sorting, filtering, and navigation in spreadsheets.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Basic administrative tax filing experience (1099s, I-9s, W-4s, etc.)

    + Proficiency in QuickBooks.

    + Strong customer service skills.

    Work Environment

    The role requires working onsite for four days with the option to work from home on Fridays. We guarantee a minimum of 20 hours per week, with flexible hours and the potential for increased responsibilities based on performance. The office environment is professional, with opportunities for growth, including becoming a full-time employee as the office manager transitions to Florida in 2026. Enjoy benefits such as flexible work hours and a hybrid schedule, with the potential to gain hands-on administrative experience in a professional tax setting. Part-time employees accrue PTO under the NJ Sick Leave law, with the ability to use it for any reason. Upon successful completion of a 9-month contract and good performance, candidates may receive health insurance, a 401K, three weeks’ vacation, and 10 holidays.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Moorestown, New Jersey.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $25.00/hr.
