    Work You'll Do

    Support the maintenance, monitoring, and daily operations of SQL Server databases. Responsibilities include:

     

    + Installing and configuring SQL Server environments

    + Managing user accounts, permissions, and data security

    + Performing backups, restores, and patching

    + Troubleshooting database issues and optimizing performance

    + Collaborating with senior DBAs and IT teams

    + Documenting procedures and contributing to automation using SQL and scripting tools

    Qualifications

    Required:

    + Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of relevant experience

    + Active DoD Top Secret clearance required

    + Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

    + Foundational understanding of database administration

    + Intermediate skills in: SQL Server Database Admin, SQL Server Performance Tuning, SQL Query, SQL Servers, Database Administration

    + CompTIA Security+ certification

    + Operate under a hybrid system requiring residence within a commutable distance to one of the US Delivery Center locations: Gilbert, Lake Mary, or Mechanicsburg

    + Spend up to 30% of working time co-located at an assigned office for orchestrated opportunities, including projects, practice sessions, training, and Moments That Matter at a Deloitte Delivery Center location, Geo-Hub location, approved site, or project location

    + Travel Requirement: Maximum of 10% overnight travel for client or project purposes

    Preferred:

    + Experience in a collaborative IT environment

    + Strong problem-solving and documentation skills

    + Willingness to learn and grow within a technical team
