    **Job Title:** Maintenance Technician (B-Shift Nights – Injection Molding)

    **Location:** Greer, SC 29651

    **Reports to:** Maintenance Manager

    **Responsible for:** injection molding

    **Status of Hire:** full-time, direct hire, non-exempt

    **Starting Pay:** $38.18/hr, 3 months: pay bump to $38.40/hr, 12 months: pay bump to $39.72/hr (assuming you are meeting and exceeding expectations) plus a $1/hr shift premium

    **Shift:** nights 6p-6:30a, 2 on 2 off, 3 on 3 off

    **Responsibilities** :

     

    Weld and fabricate all modifications

     

    Make all necessary repairs and preventive maintenance checks for injection molding equipment

     

    Keep equipment clean and dust free

     

    Assist Automation Tech with needed repairs

     

    Apply 5 “S” Standards to injection molding, robotic assembly, and robotic paint spray/application equipment

     

    Attend all internal classes and training required

     

    Install and maintain a wide variety of complicated electrical, electronic transmission testing and Control equipment, single or 3 phase, up to maximum, voltage used plant and on injection equipment

     

    Diagnose and solve any type of electrical or electronic trouble with switchboards, test boards, motors, starters, switches, circuits and controls

     

    Install conduit and wiring, piping for pneumatic or hydraulic systems

     

    Build from wiring diagrams and sketches, large single phase and 3- phase equipment

     

    Diagnose and repair breakdowns to electrical, pneumatic, or hydraulic equipment in Injection Dept.

     

    Keep up with existing changes in National Electrical code

     

    Operate a variety of power tools including grinders, drill presses, saws-all

     

    Responsible for rigging and moving machinery and accurate installation

     

    Assure all equipment is properly lubricated and maintained

     

    Troubleshoot and diagnose repairs on all injection molding, robotic assembly, and robotic paint spray/application equipment

    Assist maintenance technicians in other groups as required

    **Qualifications** :

     

    4+ years previous experience maintaining high tonnage injection molding presses and related equipment

     

    Experience troubleshooting and repairing issues with hydraulics, pneumatics, automated equipment, robotics, PLCs, HMIs, sensors and switches, motors, gears, drives, etc.

     

    Having a working knowledge of PLC, PC, and robotics (Allen Bradley, Siemens s7 troubleshooting, light modifications/edits)

     

    Physically capable of climbing over equipment, under conveyors, molds, and material handling systems

    Capable of lifting in excess of 50 lbs

    *Must be authorized to work in the US for any employer; client is not able to provide sponsorship or visa transfer at this time

    *Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check to be eligible for hire
