             42805BR Extended Job Title: SHP Adjunct Instructor - Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences Position Description: The Department of Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences in the School of Health Professions at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center invites applications for the position of Adjunct Faculty in the Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) program to begin January 2026. The primary role of the appointment is course instructor. Instructor responsibilities will include developing and maintaining course content, grading assignments and instruction, and supporting contact sessions in Lubbock, Texas. Requisition ID: 42805BR Travel Required: None Pay Grade Maximum: Salary commensurate with related education, experience and/or skills Major/Essential Functions: + Teach a course in the Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) program. This will include the responsibility to travel to Lubbock, Texas, to provide face-to-face course instruction. + Collaborate with program faculty and staff to enhance the quality and effectiveness of the program curriculum and educational experience. Grant Funded?: No Pay Grade Minimum: Salary commensurate with related education, experience and/or skills Pay Basis: Monthly Work Location: Lubbock Preferred Qualifications: + An unrestricted speech-language pathology license from the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. + Experience providing clinical services to adult populations. + Experience teaching speech-language pathology graduate students. Required Qualifications: + Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or greater. + A minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of speech-language pathology. + Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
