    Special Education Teacher | $65/hr | Vallejo, CA | 2 Openings | 2025–2026 School Year

    Amergis Educational Staffing is hiring two full-time Special Education Teachers to support a Middle School in Vallejo, CA for the 2025–2026 school year. These roles focus on moderate to severe SPED classrooms and are in-person only.

    Position Details

    + Location: Middle School, Vallejo, CA

    + Start Date: November 10th, 2025

    + Duration: 39 weeks

    + Schedule: 35 hours/week

    + Pay Rate:

    + Local: $65/hr

    + Travel Package: $2,576/week ($38/hr + housing + meals)

    + Openings: 2

    + Setting: Middle School SPED (Moderate/Severe)

    + Bonuses: Sign-on, completion, and flexible bonus options available

    Requirements

    + Valid state teaching certificate (SPED endorsement required)

    + Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (preferred)

    + Minimum one year of teaching experience (preferred)

    + Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

    + CPR certification, TB/PPD clearance, and health certificate as applicable

    + Must be at least 18 years of age

    + Strong communication and computer proficiency
