    Start Date: ASAP (10-12 day credentialing)

     

    Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

     

    1099 Contract - Rates: Negotiable - Weekly Compensation

     
     

    We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Board-Certified Family or Internal Medicine Physician (MD/DO) to join a well-established Primary Care Clinic in Downey, CA.

     

    This is a locum tenens position with the potential for long-term placement or permanent hire.

     

    You’ll be part of a collaborative care team focused on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care—primarily to a geriatric population.

     

    ? Key Responsibilities

    + Provide comprehensive primary care services to adult and geriatric patients

    + Manage a patient load of approximately 17 - 20 patients per day

    + Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care

    + Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to clinical best practices and compliance standards

     
     

    + Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine

    + Active California Medical License

    + DEA Registration and BLS Certification required

    + Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in a primary care setting

    + Strong interpersonal and communication skills
