Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Director to lead our New Product Introduction (NPI) and New Product Development (NPD) initiatives. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the successful launch of new products and features, as well as overseeing the development of innovative products to meet market needs. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leadership in NPI and NPD, exceptional strategic planning skills, and the ability to drive cross-functional collaboration in a global environment.

+ 10+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on NPI and NPD leadership roles.
+ Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve results.
+ Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of driving innovation and growth through NPI and NPD initiatives.
+ Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
+ Experience working in a global environment and collaborating with teams across different regions and cultures.
+ Previous experience working for the healthcare and building automation industries.
Key Responsibilities:
+ NPI and NPD Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive strategies for NPI and NPD initiatives, aligned with business objectives and market opportunities. Define the vision, goals, and priorities for NPI and NPD and ensure alignment with broader company strategies.
+ Cross-functional Leadership: Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams across R&D, engineering, manufacturing, marketing, sales, and supply chain to drive NPI and NPD initiatives forward. Facilitate communication and coordination between teams to ensure successful product launches and development.
+ Market Analysis and Opportunity Identification: Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive threats. Identify new opportunities for product expansion or innovation through NPI and NPD initiatives.
+ Product Development Process: Oversee the end-to-end product development process from concept to launch, ensuring timely delivery and successful commercialization of new products. Drive innovation and creativity in product development to meet evolving market demands.
+ Go-to-Market Strategy: Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new product launches, including pricing, positioning, channel strategies, and marketing campaigns. Collaborate with regional teams to tailor strategies to local market requirements.
+ Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at all levels of the organization, including executives, regional managers, and cross-functional team members. Provide regular updates on NPI and NPD progress and address any issues or challenges as they arise.
+ Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Monitor key performance metrics for NPI and NPD initiatives, including revenue, market share, and customer satisfaction. Analyze performance data to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous optimization.
+ Compliance and Regulatory Requirements: Ensure that all new products meet regulatory requirements and comply with relevant industry standards in target markets worldwide. Work closely with legal and regulatory affairs teams to navigate complex regulatory landscapes.
YOU MUST HAVE:
+ Proven experience (typically 10+ years) in NPI product management or portfolio management roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity.
+ Proven track record in customer discovery, NPD execution, and NPI acceleration
+ Experience in developing business case financials and creating offering roadmaps
+ Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills, with a track record of developing and executing successful portfolio strategies.
+ Deep understanding of market dynamics, competitive landscapes, and customer insights.
+ Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across functions and levels of the organization.
