Service Delivery Management Consultant

CTG is seeking to fill a Service Delivery Management Consultant position for our client in Bakersfield, CA.
**Duration:** 12 months
Duties:
+ Serve as the primary point of contact between IT and business units, ensuring alignment of services with business objectives.
+ Manage and optimize service delivery processes to meet agreed performance standards and enhance customer satisfaction.
+ Drive the implementation and continuous improvement of service delivery practices and policies.
+ Develop and maintain strong business relationships with stakeholders across multiple functions, including IT, business leaders, and executive management.
+ Monitor service performance, identify areas for improvement, and coordinate corrective actions.
+ Facilitate communication and collaboration across teams to resolve issues and ensure timely delivery of services.
+ Contribute to the design of service-level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track service quality and efficiency.
+ Provide thought leadership on IT service management (ITSM) best practices and process improvement initiatives.
Skills:
+ 5+ years of experience in Business Relationships, Customer Success, or Service Delivery Management.
+ Strong understanding of IT landscapes, with the ability to apply technical knowledge strategically.
+ Demonstrated ability to engage effectively with IT teams, business function heads, and C-Level Executives.
+ Excellent professional etiquette and conflict resolution skills for both internal and external interactions.
+ Strong proactive communication skills, including the ability to craft strategic messages and ensure follow-through.
+ Creative and strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
+ Highly reliable, with strong prioritization and time management skills to meet deadlines and stakeholder expectations.
+ **Nice to have:** Experience with IT Service Management (ITSM) frameworks or tools.
Experience:
+ Minimum of 5 years in a Service Delivery Management, Customer Success, or related consulting role.
+ Proven track record of managing enterprise-level service delivery programs and stakeholder relationships.
Education:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $67.00 to $76.00/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
