We are looking for a senior engineer with strong hands on experience and the zeal to learn new technologies.

_Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance._

Rate: $55 - $65 / hr. w2

Responsibilities:

+ You have great collaboration skills and can work with different partners and drive business solutions.

+ Out of the box problem solving skills and willingness to learn and experiment new technologies

+ Proactive working style with ability to multitask and handle multiple priorities at once.

+ Possess good inter-personal skills and can articulate your thoughts and questions clearly.

Experience Requirements:

+ 5+ years of experience developing in Java

+ Proficient in Scala with at least 2+ years of hands-on experience **** Nice to have ****

+ Thorough knowledge of the Akka framework.

+ Extensive working experience in REST-based Microservices built using frameworks like Spring, Mybatis etc.

+ Working knowledge of event-driven systems using Kafka Messaging platform.

+ Working experience in Cloud-based infrastructure and Continuous Integration & Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) practices.

+ Understanding of the Asset Management (specifically Compliance) domain is a plus

+ Experience working in an Agile team.

Education Requirements:

+ Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.

_Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range._
