Job Summary:
As a Director, you are responsible for directing and coordinating clinical and other activities as assigned.
You will direct operations of assigned services and ensure quality patient care is provided. You will also lead, coordinate, and execute plans to achieve ProMedica, hospital, and unit goals.
REQUIREMENTS
+ Education: BSN required and condition to obtain an MSN within 5 years.
+ Skills:Complete hospital/unit professional nurse orientation; emergency nursing competent to expert skills.
+ Years of Experience:Minimum of 5 years emergency nurse experience and 1-2 years in a charge nurse and/or similar type of leadership role.
+ License: Ohio/Michigan Board of Nursing license without restrictions; responsible for maintenance of competency and licensure requirements.
+ Certification: CPR, ACLS, PALS and TNCC; retain a Certification in Emergency Nurse within 3 years.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
+ Certification:Specialty certification highly recommended within 3 years.
