We are looking for a dynamic, organized self-starter to join our Product Support and Logistics Division as a **Trade Compliance Analyst** **in Peoria, IL.**

Job Summary** **:
+ As a **Trade Compliance Analyst** , you will be responsible for managing daily import & export compliance activity to ensure Caterpillar parts and product flow across international borders in compliance with Customs regulatory requirements. This role will serve as the lead for managing our U.S. Import Brokers.
**Additional Info** :
+ This role is located in Peoria, IL and does not offer relocation
+ This role is 1st shift
+ This role is 100% on-site with no opportunity for hybrid or remote schedules
+ This role requires up to 10% domestic travel
What You Will Do:
+ Coordinating customs documents & data requirements with internal customers
+ Coordinating operations with customs brokers
+ On-going support and communications pertaining to US imports
+ Driving defect resolution to ensure filing accuracy & timeliness
+ Executing continuous improvement activities to improve efficiency & eliminate process waste.
What You Have (Required Skills):
+ **International Trade** : Knowledge of the markets, issues, regulations, practices and operations of international trade; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately in diverse situations.
+ **Accuracy and Attention to Detail** : Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision.
+ **Problem Solving** : Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.
+ **Managing Multiple Priorities** : Knowledge of effective self-management practices; ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation.
What Will Put You Ahead (Preferred Skills):
+ 4-year college or university degree, in International Business, Supply Chain and/or Logistics Management. In lieu of a degree, 3+ years experience in trade compliance, logistics, supply chain, order invoicing and/or transportation
+ Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
+ Trade compliance certification such as LCB, CCS, CES or CUSECO
+ Process Improvement experience
+ Knowledge of Caterpillar systems, company policies and procedures
+ Interpersonal, teamwork, organizational and communications skills
+ Strong Analytical Aptitude
+ Demonstrated proficiency in written & verbal communication

Summary Pay Range:
$79,800.00 - $119,760.00
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
