Your role and responsibilities
The Project Governance Lead will be responsible for establishing, maintaining, and overseeing the governance framework for a large-scale, safety-critical air traffic control modernization program. This role will ensure that program activities are conducted in compliance with established governance policies, aviation regulatory requirements, and contractual obligations. The Project Governance Lead will provide oversight of decision-making processes, performance assurance activities, and compliance monitoring to support transparency, accountability, and alignment with strategic objectives.
Required technical and professional expertise
* Minimum of 10 years’ experience in governance, compliance, or assurance roles within large-scale infrastructure or regulated environments; aviation or air traffic control experience preferred.
* Strong understanding of governance frameworks, compliance requirements, and performance assurance methodologies.
* Excellent organizational, analytical, and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Demonstrated ability to work in safety-critical and highly regulated environments.
* Must have ability to obtain Public Trust Clearance.
Preferred technical and professional experience
• Experience working in aviation/with the FAA
• Experience supporting Federal Clients
• Domain-specific experience in one or more of the following domains: Voice, Telecommunications, Surveillance, Facilities, Automation, Alaska/Airspace
