Job Description

Summary:** The Sr. Operations Manager will oversee the daily operations of the battery manufacturing facility, responsibilities include production, supply chain, maintenance, EH&S, and facilities. This position will report into the General Manager. This role is critical in driving operational excellence, coordinating cross-functional teams, and supporting strategic growth initiatives in the aviation sector **.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

+ Foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement

+ Effectively convert confirmed customer orders into cash, while consistently meeting or beating commitments to customers and the corporation in terms of schedule, performance, and COGS

+ Set strategic goals and KPI’s for safety, operational efficiency, and increased productivity

+ Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with company goals and regulatory requirements

+ Identify, analyze, and sustainably improve operational execution/predictability in those areas that are deemed most critical to maximizing business growth & profitability

+ Drive maintenance programs to ensure equipment reliability and uptime

+ Lead engineering initiatives to improve process efficiency and support capital projects

+ Ensure the factory floor is consistently clean, well-organized, and easily understood by those who work here and those who visit

+ Recruit, hire, train, manage, and develop operations staff in ways that create maximum competitive advantage for the business

+ Be an effective member of the Battery Products management team

Requirements:

+ Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable

+ Seven (7) years related experience overseeing Operations in a Manufacturing environment

+ Strong knowledge of 6S and lean manufacturing and experience implementing these principles

+ Experience with ERP systems, knowledge of Infor XA is a plus

+ Proficient experience in Microsoft Office applications

+ Excellent oral, written and presentation skills

Salary Range:

$120,300.00-$160,400.000
