The Marketing Executive Events Team Lead and Marketing Executive Events Manager supervise the Executive Event Receptionist position. The Executive Events Receptionist position will be stationed at SHI’s EBC Reception Desks and assist the Events team with the planning and execution of events held at the Executive Briefing Center and work as part of team to support events that contribute to the overall experience of SHI. The Executive Events Receptionist will assist with meeting setup and execution, as well as providing backup to all other EBC positions. Role Description + Greet and assist all visitors to SHI in a professional and friendly manner, assisting all visitors in reaching their appropriate contact within SHI (utilizing systems in place and communication tools). + Create SHI visitor badges and Wi-Fi access for all Executive Briefing Center guests + Adjust SHI employees’ access to Executive Briefing Center per event and serve as a backup to the EBC Event Specialists and EBC Clerks + Assist with organizing EBC pantry supplies + Assemble customer giveaways and maintain inventory + Assist with tasks on large scale customer and internal events + Tasks can include: + Booking travel arrangements + Answering questions that come into the Events alias + Working the travel desk on event days + Helping set up and break down catering + Assist with bus and luggage logistics + Cross reference/proof lists and create Avery name badges  Behaviors and Competencies + Communication: Can communicate simple ideas and information clearly. + Collaboration: Can demonstrate a willingness to contribute to team tasks and responsibilities when assigned. + Initiative: Can demonstrate a willingness to take on new tasks and responsibilities when assigned. + Adaptability: Can demonstrate a willingness to accept feedback and adjust to new tasks or changes in the workplace. + Detail-Oriented: Can demonstrate an ability to follow instructions and complete tasks as assigned. + Resilience: Can demonstrate a willingness to persevere through difficulties when they arise. + Time Management: Can understand the importance of time management and strives to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines. + Interpersonal Skills: Can communicate effectively and build relationships with others in minor situations. + Flexibility: Can adjust to changes in tasks and responsibilities when required. + Professionalism: Can demonstrate a willingness to adhere to workplace norms and expectations. Skill Level Requirements + The ability to effectively utilize applications like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook to enhance productivity and perform various tasks efficiently. - Basic + Proficient in handling and safeguarding confidential information with the utmost integrity and adherence to privacy regulations and organizational policies. - Basic Other Requirements + Completed High School Diploma or GED required + Required to safety lift and move items up to 50 lbs. + Regular hours: 7:30am to 4:30pm + Ability to work flexible hours + Ability to travel 10% for events within New Jersey The estimated annual pay range for this position is $40,000 - $43,000 which includes a [compensation structure]. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual.
