POSITION SUMMARY
This position provides general operational supervision under the direction of the director/manager to assigned personnel. Responsible for organizing, directing, and controlling workflow aspects of the section to improves processes to provide high quality and cost-effective services. + Strong system analysis skills to ensure a successful outcome.
+ Excellent coordination skills to manage multiple activities.
+ Excellent customer service, communication, and documentation skills.
+ Active learning and listening skills, critical thinking, monitoring, reading comprehension, speaking, and writing skills.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
+ Bachelor’s Degree in a chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science or medical technology
+ Four (4) years’ experience in a medical laboratory setting
+ Strong Lab Information System experience
+ Previous experience solving complex problems, utilizing management of material resources, personnel resources, and time management.
+ Demonstrated leadership skills/abilities
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
+ Two years of demonstrated leadership experience.
+ Additional related education and/or experience.
