As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a thriving logistics and distribution location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entry and exit points, conducting routine patrols, and maintaining a visible presence throughout the site. Job Schedule:

Sat07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

+ Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

+ Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

+ Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

+ Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

+ Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

+ Manage access control for employees, visitors, and vehicles entering and exiting the logistics and distribution location in accordance with site-specific policies.

+ Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.

+ Provide customer service by assisting individuals with directions, information, and security-related procedures as needed.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols and site-specific guidelines.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to observe and report on security-related matters within the logistics and distribution environment.

+ Maintain detailed and accurate logs, reports, and records of activities, incidents, and observations as required by the site and Allied Universal.

+ Collaborate with site personnel and law enforcement as necessary during emergency response activities or security-related incidents.

What We’re Looking For:

+ Availability across various days and shifts

+ Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

+ A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

+ Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

+ A Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) issued by the Transportation Security Administration is required.

+ Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
