Partner Manager
Job Description:
The primary role of the Partner Manager is to drive new business growth through marketing agencies and eCommerce consultancies across the US and North America. They will develop long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships that create value for both Sage Retail and our partners’ clients.
Working within the Partnerships team, this person will manage an existing portfolio of partners while acquiring and enabling new ones — ensuring they are confident and motivated to refer Sage Retail solutions. They’ll also act as an internal champion, collaborating with Sales and Marketing to ensure our partners are supported, represented, and driving shared success.
To succeed in this role, the Partner Manager should be self-motivated, commercially driven, and thrive on building trusted relationships that deliver measurable results.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute the Sage Retail Partner Strategy for the US and North America.
• Recruit, onboard, and enable new marketing agencies and consultancies.
• Manage existing partner relationships to strengthen engagement and performance.
• Develop quarterly business plans with key partners, including co-marketing and growth targets.
• Collaborate with Partner Marketing on joint campaigns, events, and lead-generation initiatives.
• Conduct quarterly business reviews (QBRs) and manage partner training and enablement.
• Achieve partner-sourced lead, partner influence and revenue targets.
• Adhere to the Sage Retail Sales Playbooks (Sales, BDR, Partner).
Partner Manager Experience & Requirements:
• 2–5 years’ experience in partnerships, channel management, or agency relations, ideally in SaaS or eCommerce.
• Strong understanding of eCommerce platforms and their ecosystems
• Proven ability to generate partner pipeline and deliver results.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Highly organized with strong time-management and multitasking ability.
• Experience with Salesforce and digital collaboration tools.
• Comfortable with up to 30% travel.
• Degree preferred but not essential.

Key Performance Indicators:
• Partner-generated Sales Accepted Opportunities (SAOs).
• Partner-sourced revenue contribution (incremental to ACV).
• Growth in active and enabled partners.
• Contract and compliance accuracy — ensuring all partners are current and compliant.
