Job Title: Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC) Engineer
Team: LEXI Program
Job Description:
We’re seeking a highly skilled GNC Engineer to join our growing LEXI program team. You’ll be responsible for developing and refining algorithms for rendezvous and proximity operations (RPO) in space, supporting robotic mechanical systems, and contributing to orbital and trajectory analysis. Key Responsibilities:
+ Develop and optimize algorithms for RPO in space environments
+ Integrate and evaluate imagery-based inputs for pose estimation and navigation
+ Analyze and improve performance of existing RPO activities
+ Support mechanical systems problem-solving, especially robotic systems
+ Conduct orbital mechanics and trajectory analysis
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams on satellite subsystem integration
Qualifications:
+ 5+ years of experience in space vehicle GNC and RPO support
+ Strong background in control systems for mechanical robotic platforms
+ Proficiency in orbital mechanics and trajectory analysis
+ Experience with satellite subsystems and spaceflight dynamics
Preferred Skills:
+ Experience with simulated imagery and pose estimation techniques
+ Familiarity with spacecraft autonomy and fault-tolerant control
+ Exposure to multi-body dynamics and robotic manipulators

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $72.11/hr.
