Job Title: CAD Drafter/DesignerJob Description

We are seeking a motivated CAD Designer/Drafter to join our Civil Design Team in Richmond. This position offers a dynamic work environment with opportunities to collaborate on various land development projects. You will work closely with Design Engineers to create conceptual site plans, construction drawings, and as-built drawings. Additionally, you will collaborate with Land Surveyors to produce subdivision plats and land survey plats.

Responsibilities

+ Produce conceptual site plans, construction drawings, and as-built drawings.

+ Collaborate with Design Engineers and Land Surveyors.

+ Create subdivision plats and land survey plats.

+ Scan approved redlines and as-built drawings for records.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.

+ Ability to read construction drawings.

+ Understanding of drafting standards and practices.

+ Excellent communication and time management skills.

+ Attention to detail.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with Terramodel.

+ Experience with Civil 3D.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with work primarily based in the Richmond office. Approximately 50-75% of the work will be conducted in Henrico. Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Henrico, Virginia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $36.00/hr.
