    We are looking for an experienced Tax Manager to join our team in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This role involves overseeing tax compliance, providing strategic planning, and fostering strong client relationships. This position consists of working 4 days in office, 1day remote. . off Tax season - every other Friday off. 100% Medical, dental, vision-(pres.) unlimited PTO with approval. Family leave - 2 weeks full

    Responsibilities:

    • Oversee the preparation and reviewing- S-Corp, C-Corp,1040s.

    • Develop and implement strategic tax planning initiatives to optimize client outcomes while adhering to current tax laws.

    • Build and sustain strong relationships with clients by understanding their needs and delivering customized tax solutions.

    • Lead and mentor a team, promoting skill development and attention to detail.

    • Stay informed about changes in tax legislation and advise clients on their implications.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

    • A minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting, including supervisory roles.

    • Strong knowledge of tax codes and regulations, particularly in areas such as S-Corp, C-Corp, individual tax.

    • Demonstrated expertise in handling accounting functions and annual income tax provisions.

    • Excellent leadership and mentoring skills to guide a team effectively.

    • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
