Job Title: Assembler - Product

Job Description

Join our team as an Assembler, where you will be responsible for the hands-on assembly of pump skid systems using blueprints and technical drawings. This role involves working with PVC and steel piping, plumbing, and electrical control panel wiring at a warranty service center and equipment distributor of chemical pumps.

Responsibilities

+ Interpret and follow blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to assemble pump skid systems.

+ Cut, fit, and assemble PVC and steel piping using appropriate tools and techniques.

+ Install and wire electrical control panels and integrate small electronic components.

+ Perform quality checks to ensure assemblies meet specifications and safety standards.

+ Maintain a clean and organized work area and adhere to safety protocols.

+ Document assembly processes and report any discrepancies or improvements.

Essential Skills

+ 2+ years of experience in mechanical or electrical assembly, preferably in industrial or manufacturing environments.

+ Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and wiring diagrams.

+ Familiarity with hand and power tools, pipe threading, and electrical wiring.

+ Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with pump systems or fluid handling equipment.

+ Plumbing or Piping experience.

Work Environment

The work takes place in a smaller building or garage-type work area with an open bay door during the summer. The environment supports hands-on assembly and provides access to necessary tools and equipment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wilsonville, Oregon.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
