Job Description
Start each morning with a safety briefing and warm-up session. Review the board for daily orders, then operate sit-down forklifts to pick parts throughout the warehouse using a labeling system and RF scan gun. This role involves moving oversized products, such as equipment tires and animal nutrients, and loading or unloading them onto truck beds. Operators must lift up to 60 lbs, work closely with supervisors to address any task-related concerns, accurately sort, label, and store picked products, and maintain a clean work area.
Responsibilities
+ Operate sit-down forklifts to pick and move parts throughout the warehouse.
+ Load and unload oversized products onto truck beds.
+ Lift up to 60 lbs as part of daily tasks.
+ Work closely with supervisors to resolve task-related concerns.
+ Accurately sort, label, and store products in containers or on pallets.
+ Maintain cleanliness in the work area by sweeping and organizing as needed.
Essential Skills
+ 6+ months forklift experience.
+ Basic math skills.
+ Ability to lift up to 65 lbs occasionally.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with RF scanners.
+ Familiarity with warehouse and production environments.

Work Environment
Work in a large, fast-paced warehouse in Cedar Falls, Iowa, serving various industries. The environment is hot in the summer, cold in the winter, and can be dusty due to animal feed. Available shifts include 1st (6am - 2:30pm), 2nd (2pm - 10:30pm), 3rd (10pm - 6:30am), and a weekend shift (7am - 5:30pm, Friday to Monday). The dress code requires steel-toed boots and jeans or khaki/tan/denim shorts. T-shirts or long sleeves are acceptable, but gym shorts or sweatpants are not.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cedar Falls, Iowa.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr.
