Job Title: Hydraulic System Test Technician

Job Description

The Hydraulic System Test Technician is responsible for planning and conducting precise and efficient testing of large hydraulic and electronic systems. This role involves full functional integration of engineered solutions and performing complex system tests in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

+ Independently conduct full functional integration of engineered solutions.

+ Perform complex system tests using electronic tools, test equipment, transducers, data logging devices, and inspection measurement equipment.

+ Occasionally engage in electrical and mechanical assembly.

+ Set up testing equipment to measure and record system conformance to test specifications.

+ Conduct tests using common and/or computerized data acquisition equipment, and report and record data findings.

+ Troubleshoot and rework malfunctions.

+ Verify new product assembly and test procedures.

+ Train new hires on processes.

+ Communicate issues and findings with internal teams such as engineering, production, and customers.

+ Conduct a final walkthrough of the product with customers to ensure all testing meets requirements and production has met their needs.

Essential Skills

+ 5+ years of experience in hydraulic troubleshooting, repair, and testing (maintenance or field service).

+ Strong skills in blueprint reading and schematic interpretation.

+ Strong communication skills with customers.

+ Proficiency in computer and data management.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Hydraulic mechanic experience.

+ Customer service skills.

Work Environment

The work environment is a smaller facility with climate-controlled areas for some parts. It involves multiple projects, welding stations, and a painting area. The team works collaboratively, with everyone willing to contribute to project completion. The dress code includes jeans, work shirts provided by the company, no jewelry, steel toe boots, and safety glasses. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 6 am to 2:30 pm, with optional overtime.

This is a Permanent position based out of York, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $72800.00/yr.
