    Job Title: Packaging Inspector

    Job Description

    Responsibilities

    + Perform limited and repetitive visual, mechanical, functional, and/or inspection/packaging of products.

    + Establish incoming inspection or packaging procedures and protocol, and complete pass/fail job paperwork.

    + Ensure the product meets functional specifications and is cosmetically acceptable for customer satisfaction.

    + Communicate questionable or non-conforming products to a supervisor for review.

    + Perform functional tests/packaging techniques using specialized instructions.

    + Scan items and enter data to complete the pass or fail report for a product or job.

    + Assist in solving problems, addressing quality issues, and creating or updating work instructions.

    + Perform all other duties as assigned.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in packaging, assembly, and production.

    + 1-2 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment.

    + Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

    + Comprehension of detailed instructions and the ability to read work orders.

    + Ability to move around and stand all day when necessary.

    + Strong teamwork skills.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Maintain work area and equipment in clean condition, following prescribed safety regulations.

    + Flexibility to work overtime when required.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tualatin, Oregon.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.62/hr.
