Urgent Hiring - Assembly Mechanic

About the Role

The Assembly Mechanic plays a key role in aircraft interior reconfiguration, ensuring precision and quality throughout the process. This position involves hands-on assembly, fabrication, and equipment operation while following detailed procedures and safety standards. Ideal for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and are eager to contribute to both commercial and military aircraft projects.

Key Responsibilities

+ Assemble products using tools and equipment: drilling, edge fill, bonding, fasteners, fiberglass prepreg

+ Ensure high-quality standards in all assembled products

+ Maintain and care for tools in the assembly area

+ Keep the workspace clean, organized, and safe

+ Work independently with minimal supervision

+ Perform additional tasks as assigned by team leads

Essential Skills

+ Mechanical assembly experience in aerospace

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications

+ Skilled with rivets, drills, countersinks

+ Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities

+ Clear and effective oral communication

Additional Qualifications

+ High School Diploma or GED required

+ Minimum 1 year of experience in a manufacturing setting (preferably aerospace)

+ Basic math skills

+ Understanding of customer expectations and quality standards

+ Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work under pressure

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.24 - $28.56/hr.
