Job Title: Warehouse Associate
Job Description
Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse Associate where you will play an essential role in the efficient handling, processing, and shipping of products. You will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment while supporting various assembly and packaging tasks.
Responsibilities
+ Process products by skid, crate, or box for shipment and handle routine shipping paperwork.
+ Maintain a clean and safe work environment through proper disposition and storage of materials.
+ Support assembly operations with repackaging, kitting, and staging of materials.
+ Safely remove and dispose of packaging materials such as wood, plastic, and metal according to standard procedures.
+ Utilize SAP for updating storage bin information and locating materials.
+ Conduct routine inspections of material handling equipment.
+ Operate turret truck forklifts, including tasks involving heights.
+ Handle sit-down forklift operations to move picked orders to shipping.
+ Unload and load trucks using forklifts daily.
+ Conduct visual inspections of parts and move them to the receiving parts staging area.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in material handling, shipping, and receiving.
+ Proficiency in warehouse distribution, packaging, inventory control, and order picking.
+ Experience with shipping systems, forklift operation, and RF scanners.
+ Knowledge of inventory management, bill of lading, and UPS Worldship.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Previous experience operating turret truck forklifts.
+ Familiarity with bill of ladings and additional shipping/receiving documentation.
+ Comfortable working in environments with scents such as paint and oil.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elgin, Illinois.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
